Our next gig is in the rock music hotbed (or not, as it happens) of Leeds, birthplace of creative geniuses Kaiser Chiefs and Chumbawumba. Maybe mock militancy is the kind of thing they go in for up there. If so, I think we're well in.
We're going in one of these:
It's going to be like "Summer Holiday" with Michael as our Peter Pan type Cliff Richard, only without the teeth and sinister manner, and Lucy as Una "Give us a Clue" Stubbs, only without the starey eyes and history of being a mannequin with romantic connections to a scarecrow.
I'm the only one with a driving license, so I'm driving. Fair enough really, cos I don't own a bass guitar. At last I'm contributing.
Stop fighting in the back!
