If there was ever a better reason not to want to go to Glastonbury than spending a weekend with the type of people who go to Glastonbury, I now have one. It's been announced that the headliners for 2010 are the Irish pub rock band, You two.
I'm struggling to think of a single thing that appeals to me less than having to both watch and listen to these embarrassing pillocks for 2 hours while standing in a field with 100,000 people who think they're the best band in the world. As Bill Shankly once said of Everton Football Club "If they were playing at the bottom of my garden, I'd shut the curtains".
GLASTONBURY UPDATE: It's almost poetic. If I was looking for an even better reason not to want to go to Glastonbury than watching You Two, I've found it.
Five letters, starts with S, ends with G. Struggling? Think pompous Geordie with a lute.
