Sod muddy Glastonbury, bugger off Big Chill, sayonara Secret Garden Party...the only festival that matters is the Lambeth Country Show!* It's just over two weeks until the festivities kick off, highlights include the mighty Horace Andy, Johnny Clarke, Ska Cubano, Luciano...and Spirit of Play. Merci bien, Pop Goes The Revolution
So, Pop Goes The Revolution, which is a very discerning radio show based in Glasgow (remember what I said about Glasgow? Do you?) not only played us on their show a couple of times, but also featured Spirit of Demo on their facebook page (something to do with Justin Timberlake and the West Wing, I believe) as their Monday download. They may even have mentioned something about us being awesome. Simper. No, really, it is jolly nice and they champion new music and everything AND they spelt "connoisseur" right, which NOBODY does in these degenerate times, we couldn't be more... ...

Tennant's Super
I'm not going to bore you with the story of how I spent a heady morning with David Tennant a few years ago. What, you want me to tell you again? Well, in about 2007 he played a driving instructor in a (what was, quite frankly, pretty ropey) TV play. You may have seen it. It was rubbish.
