Songs about tea, etc

that we're so busy wassail, wassailing all over the town, making paper chains, writing songs that we hope won't turn out in 5/4, socialising, playing MarioKart (Luigi on a Wild Wing, since you ask), opening our advent Calendars and suchlike that we haven't actually got a Christmas gig. I know, and I'm sorry - what are you supposed to do now, you cry in anguish?
Well, we've been doing a spot of acoustic recording with The Sound of the Ladies (clue: there are no ladies, and he's got a beard), and he, as well as Doing Stuff and pointing a revolver at us when he doesn't get the guitar sound he wants and making podcasts and all that groovy business, has got loads of gigs, so why not go to them?
He tells you all about them on the aforementioned podcast AND sings you a Tom Waits song into the bargain. Can't say fairer than that.
Meanwhile, the Spirit of Play will be shoving out/releasing into the wild like beautiful butterflies those recordings at some point, completely revamping our style, oh yes (feathers, military, fruit? watch this space), doing some more gigs, appearing on telly (Oh Yes, more on that later too) - you name it. All together now: Have yourself a merry little Christmas, make your Yuletide gay, etc etc etc
