There's a new song we have which seems to have been under wraps for ages now. It's our Christmas song "You're hard to buy for", and although we played it once in a Church, we never seem to get round to performing it. I think it's got a bit of a hold over us. It scares us. We fear the 5/4 ness of it.
Songs in 5/4 are usually only written by Sting and jazz types, and in my opinion, are not to be trusted. There are a few notable exceptions, however, "You're hard to buy for being one". I didn't write it, so I can say that.
Any other good ones you can think of? Not necessarily in 5, but not in 3 or 4?
Can anybody think of anything better than this:
